Virgil Dugan, Board Chairman, Tijeras Foundation

Virgil is currently serving on the Board of the Tijeras Foundation; this Foundation's purpose is to "enhance, elevate, and encourage Biblically based, Christian ministries in New Mexico and around the world."  Prior to this position Virgil spent 34 years with Sandia National Laboratories where he managed research and development programs and oversaw corporate management responsibilities as Chief of Staff.  Virgil and his wife Sandy are members of Forest Baptist Church and are residents in the mountains East of Albuquerque, NM.  In addition to foundation and church related ministries, Virgil is a consultant in financial asset management, has served as trustee of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, has participated on numerous organizational boards, and enjoys outdoor activities with his wife and three grandchildren. 


John Moore, CIS, CIMA, Board Member, Chairman - Zia Trust Company, President - John Moore  Associates, Inc.

John is a 1971 graduate of the Business Statistics Department of the University of North Texas.  After a career in the Air Force as a fighter pilot and tactics officer, he joined E.F. Hutton in 1980.  While at Hutton, John was a portfolio manager and regional research coordinator.  in 1990, he joined Prudential Securities as Senior Portfolio Manager and Retirement Plan Coordinator.  John is a Certified Investment Management Analyst, as well as a Certified Investment Strategist.  He provides investment consulting services to individuals, corporations, foundations, and retirement plans throughout the United States.  John is the author of the Almighty and the Dollar, and inspirational guide to family financial management.  John enjoys mountain biking and spending time with his wife, Connie, and their two children.


Paul Forbes, Vice President, National Relationships, NCF National Office 

Paul became active in the generosity movement while serving as executive pastor of his church in the Kansas City area and joined NCF in 2007.  In this role, he regularly meets with donors and their families to encourage and equip them on their journey.  In working with them, he helps them discover their passions and God's unique call on their lives, using what they have been given to impact His kingdom.  Paul earned an engineering degree at WestPoint, and began his career with several years in the Army and then with Hallmark Cards.  He and his wife, Pam, live in Kansas City and have three grown children and so far, three grandchildren.


Arlene Sanchez, Board Member

Arlene is a Sr. Manager at Honeywell Corporation managing the Supply Chain Group.  Arlene spent 25 years as Project and Program Manager at Intel Corporation and Sandia National Laboratories. She received a Bachelors in Business from California State University and an MBA from Pepperdine University.  Arlene is the recipient of the Ethics in Business Award, the JCC Humanitarian Award, and the 2010 Corporate Hero Award.  Arlene has four adult children, and she enjoys exercising, reading, and spending time with her husband, Kevin Lorenzen and their four kids. 



Brian Cochran, Board Member

Brian serves families around the country as a financial planner and shareholder with John Moore Associates.  As a result of his Certified Financial Planner® and Certified Kingdom Advisor® training, Brian is uniquely equipped to help families make wise financial decisions and lead generous lives.  He received his undergraduate degree from California Lutheran University in 2005 and moved to Albuquerque to start a financial services practice in 2006.  Brian enjoys spending time with his wife, Emily, and his two sons.


Nadine McIntosh, Board Member

Nadine currently serves as Vice President of Tijeras Foundation and CFO of multiple entities within a family office.  Prior to this position, she spent 23 years in a variety of corporate finance roles at companies such as Sun Healthcare Group, Gaucho Imports, and Emcore.  She also serves on the Board and as Secretary/Treasurer of The Komes Foundation, a family foundation formed by her grandfather.  Nadine was raised in Maryland, and received an undergraduate degree in Finance from Villanova University and a graduate degree with emphases on Entrepreneurial Studies and Management from University of New Mexico.  Nadine, her husband Scott and their two sons are members of Sandia Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque.  Nadine enjoys golf, travel, hiking and all outdoor activities as well as watching her sons in their athletic pursuits.  She volunteers at various organizations throughout Albuquerque.
